BQA Certification Renewal and Continuing Education Requirement

In order to maintain certification, a minimum of 4 hours of continuing education is required every 3 years. The certified individual is responsible for submitting continuing education class information to the BQA office. Please submit continuing education information to:

Arizona Beef Quality Assurance
Attn: Debbie Reed
1650 E. Limberlost Dr.
Tucson, AZ 85719
or email dlreed@email.arizona.edu

In order to receive continuing education credit a class must be approved by the Arizona Rancher Beef Quality Assurance Program. If a class has not received prior approval a list of class topics may be requested to determine if the class meets continuing education requirements.

Upcoming Approved Continuing Education Opportunities

The BQA Certification events listed at the top of the page also meet the recertification requirement.

Call Debbie Reed at (520) 626-7107 or e-mail dlreed@email.arizona.edu to see about arranging a continuing education class in your area or to have an upcoming workshop approved for AZBQA continuing education credit.

Online Continuing Education Opportunities

Completion of the Masters of Beef Advocacy online program can be applied towards 4 hours of continuing education credits. For more information on the program as well as enrollment instructions visit http://www.beef.org/mastersofbeefadvocacy.aspx. Once you enroll in the program and complete the online material you will be sent a confirmation of completion email. Simply forward this to dlreed@email.arizona.edu and the continuing education credits will be applied towards your BQA renewal. For continuing education credit you only need to complete the online portion of the Masters of Beef Advocacy program.
