Race Track Industry Program Option

Bachelor of Science Curriculum

A minimum of 120 units of credit are required for this degree. A minimum of 42 units of upper division credit (300 & 400 level) are required.

Note: Course descriptions show course name, followed by semester offered, prerequisites, and the number of units for that course.

General Education Core Requirements (31 - 39 units)

Tier I Courses (12 units)

Traditions and Cultures - complete 2 courses from the following (You may not complete 2 sections from the same course number to complete the requirements.)

Individuals and Societies - complete 2 courses from the following (You may not complete 2 sections from the same course number to complete the requirements.)

Natural Sciences - This requirement will be satisfied by completion of departmental requirements.

Tier II Courses (9 units)

Note: One course in the General Education Core must focus on non-western cultures or on race, gender, class or ethnicity. All TRAD 101 courses will meet this requirement as will additional courses designated in the general catalog.

Race Track Industry Program Requirements

Section A. All students must complete following courses. (53 units)

Section B. In addition to the courses in Section A, students must complete one of the following paths:

Business Emphasis* (24 units)

Choose two courses from the following list: (6 units)

Equine Management Emphasis (25 - 26 units)

Complete at least one of the following courses:
